“UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II” draws reported 10,529 attendees for $3 million gate

LAS VEGAS - While "UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II" was routinely
criticized for what some considered a lackluster main event, the show
still delivered a $3 million live gate at the box office.UFC president Dana White said at the event's post-fight press conference that 10,529 fans watched UFC 106 live at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The official numbers will be certified early next week by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
