This week on the Low Blow, Derrick and I go over a variety of random thoughts before getting into a UFC 130 breakdown. The Jose Aldo non-fight, length of fighter turnover, and the frequency of UFC events all get assessed. The liklihood of Nick Diaz vs Georges St Pierre is discussed, and I wonder if it not happening helps the Anderson / GSP superfight cause. Then it's on to this weekend's card, which is surprisingly solid even though it doesn't really have a main event. Ben Mike and Chad are back this week with the thirteenth episode of Potato Nation's ever-growingly popular bi-weekly Bum Rush Radio Show podcast.
On this show the guys run through the big winners and losers from the UFC's New Year's Day UFC 125 card, dissect the Strikeforce heavyweight tournament and give their thoughts on Chael Sonnen's latest scandal.
Later on in the show former Strikeforce light heavyweight champ Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal stops by to chat about a number of topics including the status of his knee rehabilitation, his tryout with the WWE and the unlikely character who influenced him the most to become a fighter.

Well it's been a while, but The Bum Rush Radio Show is finally back from a short hiatus. Unfortunately, because of the UFC Fan Expo and a handful of weddings all of us were guilted into attending, our free time was very sparse the last few weeks, but we're ready to start pumping this thing out on the regular again.
On the bright side we had a lot to talk about this episode.
Besides our usual kibitzing about upcoming match-ups and the week's top stories, UFC lightweight, Cole Miller stopped by to talk to Ben and shared his thoughts on a plethora of subjects, including UFC lightweight champ Frankie Edgar, his disdain for Cecil Peoples, why he loves Ninja Turtles and how he sees his fight with TUF 9 winner Ross Pearson going down next week at UFC Fight Night 22.
The guys over at Hammerfisted.com invited Ben and I to be on their podcast this week, but since B-Gold had a Twilight Fan Expo wedding to attend, I had to go it alone. On the show, which can be listened to here, we discussed a variety of topics including the UG, late night phone calls from Gus Johnson and the real reason why I wasn't at the Boston fan expo.

To be honest, we were going to do a show next week to preview Strikeforce Houston and UFC 118, but we decided last minute to split the shows up.
This episode, which features an interview with Strikeforce middleweight challenger Tim Kennedy, is slightly abridged as we were somewhat crunched for time with Ben working his ass off to plan the CP UFC Fan Expo extravaganza. We apologize in advance for not including the insider roundtable segment which has become your consensus favorite and the standard way we close out The Bum Rush.
